Georgia Tech Pre-Health Conference

The Georgia Tech Pre-Health Conference is an annual event held in the spring semester for all students, not limited to Georgia Tech, interested in or currently pursuing a career in the healthcare field. The most recent conference held in February of 2012 was a huge success with approximately 200 attendees and over 50 pre-health schools across the nation. The conference will include breakfast, an influential keynote speaker, several workshops, mock interviews, a networking lunch with healthcare professionals, and plenty of face time with representatives from pre-health schools. However, the Georgia Tech American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is just a regional chapter that hosts a major event offering such great opportunities for those wanting to learn more about the healthcare field. On a national level, AMSA holds an annual convention showcasing programming tracks such as International Health and Career and Professional Development, leadership activities, networking with people all over the country, and awards for some of the most deserving individuals and chapters. This year the national AMSA convention will be held in Washington, DC from March 14-17, 2013.
